Big boom in New Pal?

Huge boom in New Pal not 5 mins ago! Wtf was that! No sirens yet. No smoke. Never seen so many neighbors come running out of their houses!

When I was a kid, the FAA had not outlawed sonic booms from aircraft. When a jet would go supersonic at low altitude, the boom would shake blocks and blocks of homes and even break out windows. Maybe a jet throttled up and broke the sound barrier too low.

Aircraft sonic booms are double pulsed, so it would be a quick "boom boom". Very easy to tell a sonic boom of a high speed aircraft from a UFO by that characteristic double boom.

Thought about something from the airport because Im not far from Mt comfort but the neighbors said it sounded south of us. Sounded like the tailgate of a dump truck slamming closed after unloading but MUCH louder. And I doubt it was a rectal sonic boom. Guess Ill text my PD buddies.

Well my PD neighbor said they had alot of calls about it but no one knows anything about it! Very strange. Must have been one of those UFO abductions.
