Took my son and 2 friends hog hunting in TN. Didn’t use dogs or the guide. Did use a thermal scope and a thermal hand held monocle. We got 3 during the day and the biggest the last night using the thermals.

That is one good sized hog!

Makes me anxious.... I'm going hog hunting Friday, Saturday and Sunday just outside the northwest edge of Mark Twain National Forest. I was told the pigs down there are nothing near that size and they all use 5.56 ARs. I'd like to swing for a thermal but have an ATN digital NV scope on my AR and it'll do as I'm told most of the shots are under 100 yards.
