    Ive bought the normal orange and black bulk box from wally world and left them out in the back of the truck in the rain. After a couple weeks they were falling apart.

    As stated up thread, those are made with clay and pitch. The problem is they disintegrate but dont break down very fast. You end up with relatively high levels of the pitch chemicals in the soil even though the pigeon doesnt appear to still be around.
