I am currently look to put a bipod on my 7mm and to be honest I dont know that much about them. I was wondering if anyone had any preference to a certain brand/type of bipod and I was also hoping to keep the installation of the bipod relativity simple. Any Suggestions?

Any Harris, or Harris knockoff will do you right. You don't need a rail or adapter, just a sling swivel stud. The thing to figure out will be how tall of a bipod you want. The Harris bipods are all adjustable, but you've gotta figure out what range of adjustment you need.
