Looks like hunters in Oregon are using the above ground fiber cable that belongs to Google as target practice while out in the field. :ar15:

Guess there is no animals flying about so the next best thing to shoot at is the insulated fiber lines.

What's the bag limit on fiber cable?

    Hunters eh?

Probably heard on the interent about hog hunting some place they've never been, don't know any one, and got bored when they got there and the poor dumb land owners weren't quite as happy to have their help as they thought they should be.

Or are they trying to hit birds on the wire/cable?

+1 ... the interview said, "I have yet to see them actually hit the insulator, but they regularly shoot down the fibre. Every November when hunting season starts invariably we know that the fibre will be shot down..."

Still not a good thing to do ...
