Coloradoans don't like to be told what to do by outsiders, whether that be the NRA or Nanny Bloomberg. But, many in the state belong to the NRA in spite of the politicization of the organization because of the historic and traditional role the NRA has played in firearms safety and training.

I also think that the Prez screwed the pooch with the NSA disclosures and the aggression toward Syria. Colorado is typically pretty isolationist and doesn't trust Washington.

Good job by the voters in the state! Let's get this stupid law repealed.

Glad to see it went the right way. The vote on Morse was closer than I was hoping. The Democrat party across the country thought they could attack our gun rights with impunity. Well, it looks like there was a small bit of punishment now rendered out. I hope gun owners will continue to punish them. I also hope it is an object lesson to the GOP that they need to keep all of their officials on the right side of this issue.

I realize today is the anniversary of 9/11, and thus the news will be dominated memorial celebrations.

I do find it a little amusing though that the media can't bring themselves to discuss these developments.
You know they're chomping at the bit to ***** about the results. Problem is, they can't justify in their own minds, what has just transpired.

Meh. Good for the people of those districts for getting out the vote, but let us not forget that the democrats are still in control of the state and nothing will change in any substantial way because of this. They've still got a lot of work to do if they want to get those laws off the books and those politicians out of office. The fat lady ain't even in the building yet.

Am I the only one who loves seeing Bloomberg waste all of his money? :):

the male senator they interviewed after his ouster said that 80% of the people support those new gun laws and that they will never be overturned. Wow that guy just got kicked out of office by VOTERS and he is still living in a self absorbed dream world! Enjoy your unemployment ass hole!

    YEEEEEEEEAH BUDDY.

Loved waking up to this story. Couldn't WAIT for Giron to be out of there.

Reminder, she's the one that said a recall attempt was "racist" because of her heritage.

I would wager a bet that those politicians have yet to wrap their heads around how the average Joe could remove them from office. The nerve of those voters....really.

I always like to see it rammed up the anti-gunners and broken off at the end. Believe me, the antis in CO may not admit it, but a chill of fear just went up all their backs.

Lets not forget this was NOT a Democrat - vs - Republican fight. There are plenty of Democrats in both those counties and they got out and voted. The Republicans, from what I heard, "overperformed" - meaning they turned out in a higher percentage of their registration - but make no mistake Democrats in Colorado are by and large pro gun. There were plenty of neutral and democrats to swamp out republicans in both elections, but they did not. This shouldn't be a Democrat - vs - Republican issue. A constitutional right is for everyone regardless of political party.

Thank you Colorado Democrats that showed up to vote for your constitutional rights! YOU, more than anyone, can send shock waves through the DNC. Take your party back!!!

Unfortunately, no lessons will be learned. The lefties will cry that "outside money", i.e. the evil NRA bought the vote. Of course, there will be no mention of Bloomberg pouring in the same or more money to sway it the other way.

    ^^^^^
This Exactly! The socialist propaganda machine of the Democrat party will just lie and twist and spin what happened into some kind of victory for the left. The truth means absolutely nothing to the left.

Ha ha, edit - IT IS ALREADY HAPPENING. THE LEFT IS TOO STUPID TO LEARN...

    You're so silly.

They started that **** just minutes after results came in.

Check Debbie Wasserman-Shultz's Twitter feed. It's ripe with blame on NRA, "voter supression", et al. Even MSNBC tweeted about it... "Big victory for the NRA in the state that is home to Columbine High School". An actual news organization said that.

Wow. Really? Blame Colorado? Blame people for expecting their elected officials to reflect the constituency regardless of party? When Colorado passed these rediculous laws Colorado was held up as a Western example to the rest of the US, but when the people require some legitimacy now Colorado got what it deserves with Columbine. That's a new low.
