They must be because I have immediate access to ALL AR firearm parts needed to build a rifle! The prices are dropping, some slowly (like LPK's) some fast (like lower receivers).

500 is fair for a midgrade AR, 350 for a mid grade AK some of the prices that got paid the last 8 months was shamefull

Man, you are a great guy! They should call you Plainfield Shooting Supplies North or call Plainfield 21st Century South! Both charge only 10% over cost and are great guys!

ARs are coming back BIG time and at pre panic pricing. Bradis and Plainfield have RACKS of the damn things. Bob never gouged, but ran out frequently. Bradis went up slightly, but had the volume to keep at least one in stock. Their pricing went down. AAC on the other hand was a bit disappointing. They went up a bit, but recent shows sold slightly above normal pricing, nothing to get in a twist over, but enough for me to search harder.

If things improve in my situation, I will be considering an AR soon.

Is this true about 21st Century Firearms?

He said 10% under retail, not 10% over cost - if I read correctly...

Stopped by AAC, PSS & Bradis yesterday. Since I wanted one for my collection, I opted for the $599 deal from Bradis. It is a very basic model from Olympic Arms. Seems solid and I am sure that it will do the job if called upon.

I saw some at ACME in Seymour this week for $1050.

Found some AR lowers at lunch. Purchased one DSA lower for $150. Shop had Smith lowers for $200.

I'd see how things look in August (we will likely have further price drops).
