I've got short fingers. I need a short trigger. My gold cup has the wide target frame. I'm going with the slim grips, I think this might put the pad of my finger onto the trigger more but in the past I've needed a short trigger to resolve my issues. Does anyone have some advice that can make me grip this 1911 better.

Not sure if this will fix your issue, but most VZ grips can be purchased and sized SLIM. Plus, they are badass looking. :)

Thin grips normally need different grip bushings installed and the short trigger would also be a benefit. That's about all you can do to reduce the distance to the trigger if you have small hands.
