Does anyone know of a source to bulk buy media in Northwest Indiana? I am looking to get a good buy on media for cleaning brass. There must be suppliers with all the industry in the area.

    Thanks
    Tom

    NW Elkhart Co.
Any place that is sells blast media, Grainger, Harbor Freight, etc. Drillspot(online) had the best deal when they had free shipping(it was drop shipped from Grainger).

Might want to look at pet supply places. For some reason, the same walnut shells or corn cob husks that they sell cheap for animals to poop in command a higher price when the use is gun-related.

The one thing you have to look out for is how coarse/fine grain you are getting. Be sure the media is either too big to get into primer pockets, or so small it goes in and falls out easily (the latter works better for me). Don't ask me how I know.

    ^THIS!

What type of media are you looking for?
    - walnut
    - corn cob
    - stainless steel
    :dunno:

Pets Smart in highlamd sells walnut shell for lizzards and that works good. It won't make your brass as shinny as corn cob but does get it clean. Much cheaper than going to LGS.

I use walnut. Its a little dusty. I got 7 lbs of it or some such sh*t from Harbor Freight. It was dirt cheap too. I bought it like 3 years ago to clean pinball parts. I just changed out into my second bowl full. About to do my 3rd because my tumbler has been running non-stop.
