    If only people thought half as much about the marriage as they do the wedding.

    I will never understand this. My darling spouse and I had a basic wedding. It was memorable. The reception was epic. It was more the quality of those attending than anything else.
    Taking a year and thousands of $$$$$ to set up a on day event is just freaking nuts.

    My question is if they couldn't come up with the money how does she have the money to spend 2 months backpacking in south America? I assume the 8 people that RSVP and sent checks that she refuses to give back are paying for her trip. $12k will go a long way down there.
