Not to debate, but both are common. I think Jury Rigged goes back farther and is more of a "Make it work well enough out of what we have until we can fix it right" in reference to fixing things on boats, where as Jerry Rigged is more of a description of shoddy or poor construction. There is probably also some "slang" in there if you will in reference so some old adversaries in the world wars. Just as there are other slang ways to say Jury Rigged.
At any rate, pretty cool video and thanks for posting!
Looks like fun, but I can't see dropping a grand on an air rifle, unless I lived where I couldn't get a real rifle.Looks like an Air Arms S410S510 side lever PCP. very nice guns.
Air Arms S500 Xtra FAC Sidelever PCP Air Rifle. Air rifles
little fun fact: in the UK, air guns which produce over 12ftlb of muzzle energy are considered firearms, people have to get a license for owning them.
Either jerry rigged or jury rigged are OK.

Certain less enlightened of my kin have been known to use another "______ rig" for the same meaning....of course the phrases "_____ pile" and a reference to a Brazil nut as a "_____ toe" were in the mix too. They don't use those phrases anymore....which is a good thing.
