FYI Atterbury has some longer ranges that are open to the public from time to time. And I think that down south around Borden there is a club with longer ranges as well.

450 is the max I can get on our farm and I've found it to be doable with my equipment, yet enough of a challenge that it isn't boring yet to where I want to move out much past that.

Thanks, I've only shot at Atterbury once, and the 100 yard was as long as they had available at the time. I think I've planted the bug in my boss, and he's mentioned a few trees we may be able to "trim" to get us some more range, he wants to see what he can do with his RPR in .308

    .
That's a pretty decent group, Kaneda; good shootin'.

I think I'm starting to reach the end of what the .223 will do, going to have to move up soon, was holding over about 10 inches with a 200 yards zero.

No, you're not. My 1,000 yard zero is over 10 feet over POA at that range.

If you want to go further, you'll need better ammo, but the .223 still has some gas in the tank.
