Brought home a Delta Elite plus new ivories on another Colt...

Im a bit disappointed in it's condition and am taking that up with the auction seller, but I do like it. Looks like he's going to pay for a refinish from Colt. I did have Charles from Spresser Knife Works build me up some Sambar Stag grips with Delta medallions for it. They look great! Now I just need to get the sidearm looking as good as the grips...

I also had Charles whip me up some real ivories for my New Agent. I think they look awesome!

I need to start taking better pictures.......

Those stag grip panels really do make a great look. I like the contrast.

Very nice, Ive had a couple of the SS Deltas over the years..... but there something special about the blued Colts !!!

On the flats up near the muzzle there is light pitting along with some slight pitting in other places. Looks like improper storage to me. I've hit it with some 000 steel wool and oil. That looks like it got rid of the rust. It's now got a pretty heavy coating of Froglube on it. The internals look great. Just trying to stop any more rust.
