    It's not THAT bad!!

I detail stripped my Mk II 22/45 last week. And I'm NOT all that mechanically inclined.

Taking it apart is, of course, the easy part. :n00b:

You'll enjoy that gun. I've put thousands of rounds down range from mine.

Not that hard to field strip and put back together either. Takes a little practice, but once you've done it a couple of times, it becomes second nature. If you ever get stuck, just check out Google and YouTube. There are some excellent videos on reassembly and step by step instructions.

Sorry-Can not find camera.:dunno: This was taken from Ruger site, same one. Yes removable grips. I think these reallly set it off though. Cannot wait to shoot this weekend. Been to busy.

Those are awesome....I seen one for the first time a couple of weeks ago. The 22/45 is very accurate. I didn't adjust the sights on mine and it was spot on out of the box. Great Pistols!!!!!!! If this is your first one, don't worry about field stripping and re-assembly. I was able to do mine the first time in about 10 Mins.

    There you are.
I heard they were a little tough to tear down. I am not to worried about it though. Friend of mine I work with is a gunsmith so if I have to much trouble I can always call him. Can not wait to shoot it.:draw:

Great pistol. I really enjoy mine and it isn't that difficult to field strip. Putting it back together the first couple of times takes some thought though.

It's a new version of the 22/45 the RP for "Removable Panels". The answer to a long time request by 22/45 owners for 1911 style grips to go with the 1911 grip angle. Bout time too. Enjoy it, they are great pistols. Jim

    I'm sold on those.
    I think I've found one.

Have too many things going on, but I'm going to regret it if I don't get it.

I see it as an instant classic. Can't go wrong.

Very nice! You shouldn't have too much trouble field stripping it. I was able to get mine apart, cleaned and reassembled in about 15 mins the first time. They are very accurate. I have the scope rail on mine and have taken the scope on and off several times and it still holds zero. The Rugers are fantastic pistols!!!
