I just got one on a trade. If he happens to a member here and he sees this thread thanks again for the trade.
Mine is in .338 Win Mag.

I am sure it is. I have not shot mine yet. Mine has really nice wood but no scrolling on the receiver like the Safari Grades. Does have the gold trigger but several Browning guns have that.

That’s what you call a property line gun. When you want to make sure they don’t run hit them with a .338!

I always wanted one. I figured if I got one it would of been a .30-06,.270 or .308. So I was surprised when I found one in .338 Win Mag. Kinda unpractical but I have a few of those guns.

Shot my rifle three times at 50 yards just to see how it would do with the rifled sights. I will be fine if I keep it 100 yards or less. I don’t have too many rounds to waste and no bases for mounting a scope yet.
What I like about this rifle is that it really soften the recoil of the .338 Win Mag. Feels like a 12 gauge field load. Pretty sure if it was a bolt gun or rifle like the Ruger No.1 the recoil would be much greater. This rifle is not that bad at all.
