My first handgun was a Colt Gold Cup that I bought in 1979. Still have it but not shooting it as much as the Les Baer one. If using too hot load, the front sight on the Gold Cup would break off.

... When was the last time you saw a Glock FTF or FTE? Very rarely happens. I will admit, 1911's look cool but I dont think they are for me.
