    Looking for suggestions here....

I want to build my own personalized first aid kit..

I love the idea of the unitized or single serve OTC meds but hate the price.

I was considering either making my own packages with my foodsaver or buying the 1" x 1" mini ziplock bags...
Which do you think is best??

I want to be able to find antibiotics without a script... (vet meds??)
    Suggestions...

I have backup supplies of a couple different pain meds I will add to the kit.

Would really like to have a small trama type kit too.

Any one hae a good list??

Any links or suggestions are appreciated...

EMS or first responder input greatly appreciated....

    Thanks!!

    Thanks for the input...

Looks like my wants are pretty close to your car kit...

Basically I travel for work so I want to put something together that I can keep in the truck or hotel room with me.

Also something more extensive to keep in the truck for when camping..

    Immodium AD
    Waterproof medical tape, 1"
Individual alcohol wipes (the small squares, last forever dirt cheap in large boxes)

This can all fit in the palm of your hand. The tape is better than any bandaid. Add a small swiss army knife like the ones for key chains. That gives you a sharp blade, file, tweezers and tooth pick. A small LED light can be handy.

At times in my career I have done up to 100% travel and this stuff is in all my gear. The luxury magic item to have IMHO is always Hydrogen Peroxide.

If you want to buy kits and learn from them, buy adventure line medical kits. I have a large one for extended trips, when it is not in a boat, it is in the truck. I bought mine years ago because you never know who might need to use it, not all people have good skills and the life they save with it might be mine. I also give small ones as gifts.
