Board is an ASUS. Had great luck with them over the years.
I wanted some extra grunt in the GPU area to assist in CAD and video/photo editing. I'll check in on the latest games every now and then...I know I grabbed way more than I need in all areas, but I don't like doing stuff twice....

Heh... I tried doing that once.. next thing I knew I ended up with a 46u rendering farm in my basement. On the plus hand I don't think we turned on the heat that entire winter.

Alright...here is some of what I got done last night.......

Eight rivets were drilled out as this cage has to go....

    IMG_4401.jpg

Once the rivets were gone the cage pulls out and makes for some room we will use later

    IMG_4403.jpg

    Stock water pumps.....bleh.....

    IMG_4412.jpg

This is the only part I want!

    IMG_4413.jpg

Once the pumps are stripped I can install in this Dual 5.25" Bay Res. Fill ports on front eliminate the need to incorporate one elsewhere.

    IMG_4404.jpg

    First pump installed

    IMG_4414.jpg

The res can be run in either dual or single configuration. It comes set for dual loops, but since I will be running a single loop with serial pumps I had to swap out this plunger

    IMG_4420.jpg

    here is both

    IMG_4422.jpg

short plunger installed. Now it can act as one giant res.

    IMG_4423.jpg

This tube will allow the pumps to run in series

    IMG_4425.jpg

    Test fitting

    IMG_4426.jpg

Also got the 360rad installed up top. Bitspower compression fittings installed as well

    IMG_4427.jpg

I then realized it was late and went to bed!!!!

ugh....filling the water system Saturday night and found an internal leak in my RX240....now I have to deal with the Northamerican/Asia rep for a UK based company....

    BOOOOO....

Needless to say I now have a 98% complete build sitting on my kitchen table that is going to sit there for the foreseeable future.

I'll get some pics up later.

    1. You dont do anything "normal".
    2. The videocard has a "FOR THE WIN" edition. This is both awesome and .. awesome at the same time.
    3. I found a picture of you and the computer on your kitchen table.

This seems like a lot of hassle when you could have just gone to the apple store and purchased a vastly superior computer and taken it home and it would have just worked. :dunno:

The 'mag' issue turned out to be a 'just not broken in' issue, dick...lol. And I had batteries in the Red Dot, they were just dead!!

Back to the real topic dammit!

    My new love....Sandy B.
