Hush your mouth!
I've owned, in the past, two different Glock 19s and 1 G17. The G17 was a honeypie...
But I decided that I wanted to stick with just 1 platform for now. I didn't mean to, but I've ended up with mostly S&W stuff.
Hope so!!!

Nice enough gentleman I spoke with this AM; but I did not inquire about costs involved. I figure that I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.
Do you still have the stock sear? Just put it back in and ship to S&W. Then swap it out when you get it back. They'll never know you had an Apex in it
on a related note.... somewhere in the carpet of my living room, an AR detent spring lies in wait..... mocking me. I did however, vacuum the room, and use a magnet to go through vacuum bin..... and found the pin!
and on another related note..... last weekend I had my Saiga 12 apart, and launched the spring and pin into orbit from the gas block. By some miracle I actually found both of them. The spring in a drawer of my tool box, the pin 20 feet away on the floor.
Give Numrich Gun Parts a try. S&W won't sell model 41 sears, but Numrich has them. Brownells doesn't. Good luck.
Trade M&P for a 1911?
Very true, you need to know the dia. of the wire, the number of turns per inch and the spring material(music wire or stainless). Not all springs are created equal. If you replace with another
part that looks similar it might not be a good idea.
If the wire is even remotely larger or smaller in diameter the
weight of the spring will be different than what was in there
and "might" cause adverse function. Just a heads up.
YMMV

Maybe you could trade it for a GLOCK

sent you a PM
I do my disassembly where I believe springs will seek freedom
in a large gallon size ziplock bag.
Place hands and gun into bag, get to work.
Springs make a run for the wall, the guards bring them down.
