I hope this link works, i'm using my cell phone. But its from cnn, stating that the owner of bushmaster is selling ten brands off, one of which is bushmaster. I am totally appalled by what happened in newton, but GM doesn't sell Chevrolet just because someone wrecks.

Cerberus Capital Management is a private equity firm. They are in the business of making capital for their clients, not manufacturing firearms. They feel the tide has turned and so it makes sense for them to place their investment money in companies with immediate growth. The recent events indicate to them that holding Bushmaster or Freedom Group is not good for Cerberus or their clients.

Be hard to sell Bushmasters if DICK's and WALL-DICK's take them off the shelf. Didn't like big "D" before and getting sick of big "Wall" anyway. so I'll buy else where.

It sucks that bushmaster is taking a big hit because of this. It's not really fair to them.

Bushmaster isn't taking a hit or going anywhere, it's just being sold. Nobody would buy it if they didn't think it was valuable.
