Damn it came down hard, and crooked. They got the gear down but it sure looks like they were on the ragged edge of no control. No speed left for a flare, just straight down to thud onto the gear. Can't tell if they hit vehicles, but they sure hit the wall.
I agree. Definitely still in a skid. If they could have completed that turn a couple hundred feet higher they might have pulled it off.

It looks to me like they still had angular momentum and although the nose was aligned with the highway they continued to slip. So when they got wheels down they just kept drifting right due to inertia. Kinda like when an indycar driver cant quite hold the turn so they smack the wall at the start of the straightaway.

If you've ever played with dead engine landings in MSFS you know all control inputs eventually become vague suggestions. Who knows how much notice they had, how fast they decided on an emergency landing site, or how much airspeed they bled trying to get over and aligned with the road. And of course, the highway was packed.

Very, very difficult and bad situation.

Absolutely. Not laying blame, just stating unfortunate facts. (based on appearances.)

I couldnt have done any better myself.

Same trucker dash cam, slightly wider view video. Also shows diagram of flight path and air traffic control audio stating lost both engines. 3 minute video
