Things do change. When our first son was born 50+ years ago, the husband was allowed to be present during conception. But was not allowed to even be in the same room during birth.

Things do change. When our first son was born 50+ years ago, the husband was allowed to be present during conception. But was not allowed to even be in the same room during birth.

My dad used to joke that he was in the waiting room while we were born. The waiting room being the bar across the street.
