Man was living out of a storage unit. Chased off another renter with a gun and police were called. Found 12 machine guns, Meth, and child porn. :noway:

Poor guns are gonna be destroyed. Are they M240 Bravo's? How do you even get your hands on one let alone 12 of them?

The same place you get the drugs and child porn all of which are illegal with no exceptions. But we clearly he still got the drugs and porn. This is the whole point to what legal gun owners are fighting for. People that commit crimes don't come by this stuff legally. If he did own them legally I think he would have sold one and rented an apartment for probably two years if not longer.

I understand and agree, I just mean it in the sense that I don't believe they were manufactured in Mexico. I understand they must have came from a black market but the number is what surprises me. It's ridiculous. And to be owned by someone with no use (as far as we can see) to have one, or twelve.

from the looks of the video the machine guns in question look like old german WWII MG 42 types. The picture of the M240B, actually look like one taken in the sand box. You can see the desert cammies, and the boxes of ammo behind them while the weapons are on sand. This article states it was in a storage unit. I think that the weapons seized in california were probably collectors pieces, and even though the news agency didnt specify, I bet they were modified for single shot use only. Just my opinion

I bet you are right actually.
"He’s charged with unlawful possession of assault weapons,"

I forgot that California suffers under Fienstien's bill currently, and therefore these would be unregistered "assault weapons" even if semi-auto. I guess only time will tell if they were full auto or not.

You can also tell from the barrel cowling. Ours (M-240) dont have air vents in them. these did. they look like ours because we borrowed the design for the M-60 from them.

I saw some MG 34s and MG 42s in the vid. None of that may have been real photos from the storage unit. He may have had a few 10/22s with 25 round magazines. Who the hell knows, it's Kalifornia.
