Cali can go **** itself, literally and figuratively. Once their state goes belly-up all the fun and games and nice government hand-outs will dry out. Then you can expect hell to pay. Especially in LA.

And let the cops there turn the cities into free fire zones. Where's this rag stand on that?

My guess is that the population outflow of LEGAL residents will continue. Soon it's going to be the SF nudists, some Gray Panthers, and a boatload of illegal aliens. See who pays all the state pensions then.

A lot of Cali laws trickle into other states over time. CARB has had a lot of their rules and regulations end up mandated at the federal level.
They consider themselves a model for other states to follow though? That is humorous and sad at the same time. In reality though, it has kind of already happened. Cali is broke, the country is broke. Cali is overrun with illegals looking for handouts, look at how many other places have followed suit; look at where the illegals issue is at on a federal level.
Unfortunately, common sense is no longer common.

The article said that accidents/crime with guns are decreasing in California, but fail to mention that that is also happening in states with less regulation.

Not to thread-jack, but Indiana has adopted many of the CARB manates already. Mainly regarding aresol products, everything from common household chemicals to brake cleaner, and beyond.
