so tonight while hanging out back by the barn, i heard a sound that i have not heard in about a year. I look up and what do i see, a nice V flock of Canadian geese heading in a southern direction. got me all excited for early migratory season up in northern IN where i hunt.

but isnt it a early in the year for them to be heading south? do they "know" something we dont? or do you think they are just jumping to a different pond/lake?

:twocents: needed by the other bird hunters

i don't hunt them but i saw a V shaped flock (maybe 10 birds) moving in a southerly direction yesterday on the north side of fort wayne. i'll just be glad to see them go and stop leaving their turds on every horizontal surface i want to walk on, but good luck getting them down!
