Looking for suggestions on what to attach to the backside of my holster to keep the raw leather from rubbing against my skin. I'm currently just wearing an undershirt but with it getting warmer very quickly that isn't always going to be a comfortable option.

    Thanks!

I always just wore an undershirt. I wear an undershirt everyday, so it wouldn't bother me to wear in the winter or the summer. You could always pull your underbritches up higher. :D

You mught try attaching a piece of moleskin to the back of the holster. It'll be a lot softer than the leather.

I wear a t-shirt like those above, but you could have a thin sheet of glove leather or maybe even moleskin stitched or glued to the skin side of your holster pretty easily.

    Bah! beat to the punch.

Could you soften the backside of the leather with some sandpaper? It might be hard to get anything to stick to the leather with you sweating on it.

Yep...undershirt. I was gonna say "camisole", but I guess "wife beater" would be more appropriate. Well...unless you just want to feel pretty. :D

I don't put anything special on. I don't normally even wear undershirts. But my holster is different; it was a custom IWB I built, similar to the Crossbreed Supertucks. But I have not noticed any chafing or anything...

    MTAC is better :

+1, MTAC is better than Crossbreed...

    and for the record:

    Glock is better than XD
Remington 870 is better than Mossberg 500
    AK is better than AR
    CC is better than OC
And there's an Australian guy on YouTube that "likes guns"

In all seriousness, the leather on the back of the MTAC is very soft and smooth. I don't find it at all uncomfortable against bare skin.

    How about a remora ?

They have the 'flap' on the back to prevent sweat from getting all over your weapon. They are rumored to be very comfortable to wear.

Always put leather glove softener on the back of my holsters. Never really had a problem with my Crossbreeds, but it does make them softer and more pliable.
