So what do you think? Did I do well for $1000?

Now I just have to get on purchasing a strong mount, roller handle, some more pickup tubes, a 9mm setup, bullet tray, primer low buzzer and I'm sure about 50 other things. hahahah

Give you an idea....I recently purchased a new dillon 550 with bullet tray, empty case tray, and strong mounts for 600.00. With everything else thrown in and if condition is near excellent, I would guess it is a fair price.

It's a very good deal if the dies and components are ones you want and will use.

$900 is a bit steep for a used press, scale, and tumbler. However, all those dies, conversion kits, bullets, powder, primers, and brass would probably cost pretty close to what the press, scale, tumbler, etc would cost if you bought them new.

A lot of the value there is tied up in .223/5.56 - dies, components; and a powder that's ideal for that caliber. If .223/5.56 is one of the main calibers you shoot, you should jump on this deal.

If you primarily shoot different calibers than those listed, then the dies and components are just "throw-ins" for you. You could buy the lot and sell off the stuff you won't use, but there's a hassle factor there and it would take it down from a really great deal to a decent/fair deal.

That is a very good price for the whole group. The super swager costs a pretty penny, and the components to good for it since they are scarce. You could always part out what you will not use also.

    I'd jump on it.:dunno:

That is what I thought. I'm just getting into reloading so I wasn't sure.

Now I just have to sell my AK kits to fund it. : /

Indygunworks, I was at your place for the reloading class, that is a heck of a set up. I am working on getting my bench up, my press has been in a box for several years. I just don't have near as much room as you do! I am hoping to be up and running in the next couple of weeks. I need to get a few accessories to get going, some case prep tools and stuff, but I have all the major components.

I was curiuos what redneckmedic was getting for his benches, as I wouldn't mind a different bench than the one I have picked out, but it should do for now.

Thanks all, didn't mean to hijack the thread!

P.S. - I would be all over the OP deal!!

Is it all still such a deal without the Dillon Super Swagger, 3 cans of One Shot lube and some spare parts?

Somewhere along the line between me buying it from the guy, my friend picking it up from him and storing it those items have been lost. I've been in contact with both parties and naturally they both say they don't have them.

My friend wouldn't steal from me and even if he did he has no reason to only take lube and a super swagger. The guy I bought the stuff off of is a nice old guy and I don't think he swiped them either.

Who the hell knows where they are, all I know is I'm out about $120-140 worth of crap.

    Pisses me off!
