Camping this weekend

It's going to be 90 degrees on Saturday, but, the kids and I want to/need to go into the woods (women's retreat at the house). We're in a tent, and are not backpacking in,.

Wherever we go, has got to have water to play in.

Turkey Run is always a good pick, but if I did my research right, they're filled. I've had Shades recommended, but I don't think water activity is allowed. McCormick's only has a pool? Deam is admittedly intimidating for a first time visit without someone who has done it before.

Suggestions?

Lieber State Park is always nice. Looks like they have open spots.

The campground / lake is between Crawfordsville, Shades, and Turkey Run State Parks.

Rockville Lake Park.. just north of Rockville. Hour west of Indpls.
Nice small lake with a beach and trails and nice camping areas and nice modern shower house.
Been there dozen times... 2 thumbs up.

Shakamak State Park in jasonville is our favorite campground. great pool. Decent lakes. Never feels crowded. (even when it is).

Patoka Lake and Hoosier National Forest are fun....

Holiday World has a nice campground as well....

Lincoln State Park. Nice lake (watch for leaches though). Nice sites. Holiday World just down the road.
