Went to NAPA to pick up the actuator but as par for the course it was the wrong one. Hope to get the new one maybe today but not sure if my schedule will allow. In the meantime I have kind of jury rigged the damper so I have air to the floor and defrost making it somewhat comfortable driving now....
On a side note I bought a different truck back in June '16 to replace my Avalanche but figured I might as well keep driveing the old one until it gives up the ghost.
