Can you close your own thread?

Can you close your own thread? Like when you post things like WTB, WTS... do you have to ask a mod to close it every time? Or am I just clueless and can't find the function to close one? Seems like an appropriate feature, otherwise its a lot of additional requesting things from moderators.

Yes, you can and SHOULD close your own threads only in the classifieds. Click on "thread tools" and then chose "close thread"

I can't close this thread. Are only certain threads applicable? I have 4 options on this thread, and every other time I have checked:

I guess I figured it out. You can only close threads in the classified section.
