Ok, this is going to sound dumb, but try it! I bet you can't do it!

This will boggle your mind and you will keep trying over and over again to see if you can outsmart your right foot - but you can't. It's pre-programmed into your brain!

    1. WITHOUT anyone watching you - they will think you are GOOFY, and while sitting where you are at your desk in front of your computer, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles with it.

    2. Now, while doing this, draw the number six in the air with your right hand without stopping your foot. Your foot will change direction.

I told you so! And there's nothing you can do about it!

You and I both know how stupid it is, but before the day is done, you are going to try it again, if you haven't already done so.

I couldn't seem to do it either, dang it! I'm sure I'll get it eventually. I can normally bypass any preprogramming if I try hard enough:):

When I'm bored and alone I get on here, oh wait that's basically most of the time I'm home.

I saw this a while back, and an informal survey of my friends showed that drummers can do this without any problems. I think it's training...

I can do it. *shrugs* i changed sometimes, but probably only 10-20% of the time.

Edit: I used to play the drums, including drumset, which if you're any good, you develop 4 limb independance. Which I can't do well anymore, but maybe that has something to do with it.

It's hard to draw the "6" in the air while I'm holding my shot glass and crack pipe... Oh wait, should I put those down

    This is awesome.

Normally I just scoff at stuff like this, but....

I am fail; even when I focus, it's hard... my foot doesn't go counter-clockwise, but it definitely moves to the left instead.

    Thanks for this neat trick.
