My dad used to tell me that if the lawn looked green from the street, there was nothing wrong with it. Problem is all the yellow, white, and purple flowers amid the green!!!

And dandelions are edible! Clover too, supposedly, though my friends are an odd bunch and eat weird stuff...

The best thing to use to get rid of anything with broadleaves is 2,4-D
It won't kill your grass.

did the same thing yesterday. Inside right now taking a brake from cutting trees all morning. Just about ready to wrap it up.

I do have a question though. What kind of weed killer is that in the packages? and how does it mix? I typically buy the liquids in gallon jugs, but Im sure there is better stuff out there.

Those little packets are pretty convenient. One of those and a gallon of water in my sprayer, and I'm a killin' machine.

Round Up is so suburban, I bought some stuff at Rural King, 1 ounce per gallon and we're talking total death from above. Takes a couple of days to show up but we're talking doa! My experience with roundup leads me to believe that after 3-4 days the roundup morphs with the dead weed into a highly effective weed fertilizer!!!
