Wow, just heard this on the radio on my drive home. Whatta bummer! 2016 has taken a lot of good celebrities. I think if I was a celebrity I'd lock myself in a room somewhere until 2017.

From the first report I heard about her health issue I did not see it ending well for her. Very sad and way to young.

Not only will I remember her for Star Wars but I always find myself watching The Burbs and Soapdish when ever I find them on TV. Not leading roles by any means, but nice to she her in them.

RIP Carrie Fisher.

For those of you who haven't seen "Wishful Drinking." She is very honest and forthright about some of the issues she was raised with.

Here is a Youtube video: <span style="font-family:arial;"><font size="3"><span style="color:#000000;">

Sincerely,

Where's the bacon?
Posted in the Funny Pic Thread (#8) along with an irreverent image, but thought it appropriate to say here as well:

Sad to lose Princess Leia. Definitely an icon of my childhood/generation. I told my wife we should pay homage to her memory, but she wasn't 'feeling' the proposed tribute and said her hair is not long enough for those braids anyway.
