Carry League Level 2 Feeler

I am in the middle of designing a level 2 carry league. I am working on coming up with the first hours drills. I have it at 100 rounds right now. Is that too much?

It will be a three week commitment again. The second hour looks to be 100 rounds or less each week

While on the drawing board the themes look to be:

Week 1 Moving off the line of force and engaging, counter-ambush

Week 2 Scenarios

Week 3 On hand shooting and manipulations


If you have taken Level 1 give me your feedback/ questions

If these follow the same Sunday evening schedule, I can make it 100%.

In your classes I've always used a full size 4.5" XDM, which I carry about 50% of the time in the winter. It's great for classes, and shooting decent, but the other 50% of the time I carry a small carry gun (XDS in 9mm) or an ankle gun. It's tough to get range time to accurately train working from deep concealment. I think maybe giving an option for working on a few deep concealment drills could be beneficial.

I like the idea of utilizing a portion of the class to practice with our carry concealment weapons. Mine is also different than what I use for classes.

May I ask why? Why not train the way you carry?

Several people do the whole league with a concealed gun. If you can do it safely I am game. No arbitrary and capricious rules.
