    Here’s an idea: full incorporation of 2A against states around a federal law clearly stating “shall not be infringed.”

    Also an earlier post mentioned carrying the ammo separate from the firearm. This is not necessary, the ammo including loaded mags may be in the same case as the firearm as long as they are not in the mag well. Illinois has never regulated the transportation of ammo just the transportation of firearms. Jim.
    Thanks for that info. That would have made things a little more bearable, but if you're carrying with one in the chamber, you still have to load and unload that round, and keep track of it. You can't just drop the mag and throw them in a case to carry into the motel.

    So what I understand is that we can have loaded guns in the car as we drive it and we can have loaded weapons when we are inside a home that allows us or a hotel room that becomes our domicile. Is that correct?
