I often pick up freelance or contract work that requires I work on site with clients. Usually it's just for a few days but I recently landed a big corporate account that will keep me on site for the next few months.

I didn't carry on my first day, but I did today (day 2). I had a Bersa Thunder 9 in a N82 tuckable holster. I didn't wear a sport coat, just a dress shirt and khaki's.

I’m a contractor, not an employee. I never signed a company handbook. There isn’t a ”no guns” sign on the door, but I'm certain they'd escort me out and end the relationship if they found out I was carrying.

I'm a little concerned about staying concealed for 6 months or more. Today we took a tour of the building and my supervisor was behind me. I noticed him looking at the holster clip on my belt.

Are there other corporate carriers out there? What are some of the issues you deal with working in a cubicle farm?

You could go with a belly band or thunderwear type of set up, no clips to contend with and with a belly band you can position the gun at any position you wish.

Depends on how badly you need the work, I suppose. If you cannot afford to be detected but still want to carry, I suspect that a flat pocket pistol in a front pocket holster that breaks up the outline entirely is going to be one of the most undetectable methods. IWB appendix carry or Bellyband carry would probably be second. An ankle holster sounds good on paper, but the few I've tried seem to print/come exposed/catch on things a surprising amount of the time.

My buddy loves his 5.11 tactical holster tshirt. Says its comfy, super concealed, since you will have a dress shirt and sport coat/suit over it. You could carry any size pistol in there too.

    That's a great ideal.

Sorry, don't mean to be a jerk...but it is idea (no "L") that you are looking for in that statement.

An idea is a thought or an opinion that is typically specific to an individual. An ideal is more like a value or a philosophy, or a thought or opinion that is widely accepted by a number of people.

I know, I should chill out, but that is a big pet peeve of mine. It ranks right up there when somebody says they did something "twiced" instead of "twice."

My experience has been that non-gun people are incredibly oblivious to such things.

I wear a Galco tuckable daily with either a Kimber 4" or Kahr CM9 depending on the weight and hang of the shirt I'm wearing that day. In the office 90% of the time it's a dress shirt and the Kahr. For me a light color dress shirt = CM9 and a darker color dress shirt or heavier material = 1911.

Now - all that said there are little to no ramifications should I be spotted. Only you can fully evaluate your own risk/benefit....

I carry a weapon. Pretty much everyone who knows me knows I carry a weapon. So, I carry a weapon.

I think that should answer the question.

You could at least make sure your own grammar is correct before complaining about someone else's.

    Just sayin

Also, it's pet peeve...If you're gonna police the grammar, don't be a Barney Fife about it.

Getting back on track, This a pretty lucrative gig, so I really don't want to risk getting outed and upsetting the client. I think I may just leave the gun in the car for now and look into one of the 5.11 shirt holsters. I'd be overdressed in a sport coat and I refuse to wear one of those cell phone holsters you've got to pull out of your underwear.

I'm not familiar with your holster, but many IWB holsters have an option for more discrete belt clips that go behind the belt or have Velcro attachments. That might be something to look into.
