Cerakoted my XDs

My XDs has been my primary carry gun since I got it 2 years ago. In the winter I'd carry OWB and the rivet on my jeans is in just the right spot to scuff up the slide. I had been meaning to get my friend to Cerakote it ever since he started doing it but kept putting it off. I finally sent my gun off to him several weeks ago and he got it back to my within a week, I've just been lazy about posting the pics. So here it is...slide done in burnt bronze, frame in FDE, barrel and other parts in graphite black.

Seems very impressive. I guess it could be relative to influences such as application processes as well. In any event I'm about to find out with my newest purchase pending and my first Cerakote finished firearm. A Lionheart Industries LH9 MKII. We shall see.

Not a fan of the tan frame but the slide color is really nice.

I love it! Great color choice IMHO. But I have better taste than Bigtanker.
