    Well the one time I had to change a light bulb or area illumination devices as us professionals call them. I used a 75 watt incadescent illuminatar. After some research at many sites such as:

    Lightbulbshowto.com
    illumination.org
    outofthedark.tv
    and of course
    fema.org

    I came to the conclusion of lefty loosey righty tighty was my best bet.

    Technically the word loosey only appears in Websters dictionary in reference to the term Loosey-Goosey ie
    : notably loose or relaxed : not tense <a loosey–goosey attitude>

    The correct word you should have used was loose or looser. Just thought I would point that out :D:laugh:
