How does one change the plinker status on their profile?

You have to be a site supporter to customize your user title. Otherwise it changes when you get to certain post counts.

It's done with total post count. When you post your 300th post you will be a Marksman.

It's relatively cheap ($15 IIRC) and very easy to do. There is an option to "subscribe" to site-supportor status and it redirects you straight to paypal to pay, then you come back to INGO and you're instantly a site-supporter. If you prefer to pay be check, MO etc (if Fenway is still doing it that way) it will take a bit longer because it has to be processed manually.

There's a bunch of changes for various post count points. There's two ways to get "shooter" though...

Plinker status goes away when you quit tempting your self with sinful posts on ARMSLIST!
