Changing point of impact

I don't know if this is right place to post this, but here goes. On ar 15 with 6 position stock if you move the stock in( to the trigger) or out ( away from trigger) will it change the point of impact? Will it raise or lower where bullet strikes the target or have no effect at all?

As long as you are correctly placing the sights on the target, no.
