China Calls for 'No Delay' on Gun Controls in U.S. - NYTimes.com
HONG KONG — The state news agency in China, the official voice of the government, has called for the United States to quickly adopt stricter gun controls in the aftermath of the shooting rampage in Connecticut that left 28 people dead, including 20 schoolchildren.

“Their blood and tears demand no delay for U.S. gun control,” said the news agency, Xinhua, which listed a series of shootings this year in the United States.

This is from a nation that arrests peaceful Christians and beats them to death in front of their wives and children. This is from a nation that forces women to abort their second child. This is from a nation that exports tainted baby food and poisoned toothpaste to the US market. This from a nation whose whole economy depends on stealing US patents, producing substandard products and exporting them to be sold at Walmart. Like they have a moral high ground. The only reason they have not invaded the USA is because they are afraid of our armed citizens. I have no respect for their government or their opinions. Where is George Patton when you need him?

Maybe we can work this to our advantage. Mr. Politician are you bowing to the desires of your godless chicom masters or the Constitution that you swore to defend.

Imagine that. A communist country calling for controll of the people. It would make sense, I guess, that they would want to infringe on the one right that gives us the means to defend against an oppressive government...

    How is this even news?

Let them stop. Where else can they safely put the money, especially in a way that much of it comes back to them via the purchase of their products?

If they stop, then we would need to get our finances in order. Might be painful in the short term, but good in the long run. They will not risk slowing our economy down, because it might lead to default; where would that leave them?

If they stopped, most likely they would plow the money back into their own economy. If the Chinese people have more money to spend, their wages will go up (removing part of their advantage with labor costs) and/or they might buy more of our stuff. Either way, the American worker wins.

They have no real leverage over us.

If only we had a president with balls to tell them NO.
