Chinese SKS-- good deal?

Have an opportunity to buy an unissued, never fired Chinese SKS for $300. Still packed with cosmoline; arsenal mark, then "SKS 7.62X39 Made in China IC-KNXV-TN" on the left side of the receiver.

Has the red phenolic stock, chrome lined bore, and all numbers match. No bayo, no sling.

Good deal at $300 or just regular market price?

Not too bad at all! They've went up quite a bit in the past few years along with eveything else.
