No thanks. Modern hog farming has already managed to remove enough fat from hogs and turn their meat white enough, and bland enough, to taste like cardboard.

My neighbor had a hog roast last week. He cooked an American Guinea hog. They are considered a heritage breed and look much more like a wild hog than anything you'll see at a typical hog farm. The meat is dark, the pigs have a substantial layer of backfat, and the meat actually has flavor.
