class 3 to class 3 dealer transfer time?

My B.S. meter is ticking on this one. I won a 22 pistol and suppressor at a NRA raffle. I live on the East side of the State.
I asked my class 3 ffl if he could have both pistol and suppressor shipped to him to do the transfer. My ffl is now saying that there is
a 7 to 9 month wait for class 3 dealer to dealer transfer. I understand the wait for myself as the purchaser waiting 7-9 months,
but that doesn't sound right for a class 3 dealer to class 3 dealer transfer.

Dealers please help me out here.

I just did one last month it took 6 weeks dealer to dealer

Form 3's are typically 3-6 weeks.

Was only taking a month. Most dealers charge a hefty fee though. Like $75.

My personal experience was 3 months, but that was from Lypsey's (sp?) to BGF, and that happened to be right at the time the ATF launched the website. It is my understanding that the e-file was substantially longer at that point in time because of the website issues.

I had one that took 6 mo for a SMG. Most of that was because the dealer that filled the papers out kept making mistakes on the form.
