I will probably just cease posting items on here as a good deal do not want to face reality. It is as if they want to be insulated. I am getting my price on Gunbroker and locally and thought I would as a courtesy list it here. I sold a gun a month ago for a huge profit and when another ingoer I knew asked why I had not listed it here cause he would have bought it I told him cause I did not want to deal with this kind of crap. Alot of people just want ammo no matter what and will pay. When I need a product I am just happy it is available. I do not ask anyone to do my any favor by selling me something at less than the replacement price. I want one of the people on here that say well we should all stick together sell me a machine gun for the 1970's price or sell me some silver rounds for $6 or some 9mm for $10 a box. I want another Nagant I am not asking someone to sell it to me for $79 cause we are all in this together. I would apprciate legit offers or just pass it by. This other person would not legitimately start an add here offering a Nagant for $1000 so why mess with my add. I will not be back to this thread hell I may not be back to INGO because I like people who live in the real world.
From one INGO to another.... I seen your ad yesterday, chuckled under my breath at the price and moved on. No reason for me to bust your nutzs over it. Your ammo, your price :patriot: good luck!

Prices will drop if people will stop paying the high price. If our people on this fine group will stay together we can all be happy. But a few of you want to gouge us just like armslist people and gunbroker . Come on everybody let keep this the best forum going.

    The news

The prices should be falling fast based on the news.....

I am assuming you're referring to the news that the AWB has been put on the back burner. Is there some magical way this will make guns and ammo appear on the shelves? The damage is done. People bought all they could and some of them had to either pay abnormally high prices or go without. Demand emptied the shelves and supply could not restock them. I don't understand why this seems so hard for some people to grasp.

"Two boxes of ammo per customer". As Bill Engvall would say. "Here's your sign."

If the majority of consumers are willing to pay exorbitant prices then that price becomes the norm. I haven't purchased anything on any of the frequented websites - nor have I sold anything - for several weeks. You can badged the entrepreneurs on here until you're blue in the face but your actions will dictate the economic trends.

It was probably some Walmart employee trying to unload ammo before the crash. Listing said in large font, all caps. It was something like this, can't remember caliber though-

    I have 6000 rounds of Wolf ammo $350 for 500 rounds or $650 for a 1000.

    4% credit card fee.

I wish the government would regulate ammo and gun prices. That would make the situation improve

If the government were to regulate the price of ammo it would quadruple in cost within a year and availability would get worse than it is now.

HOw many things can you name that the government regulates that are priced fairly or easy to get or well handled?
