I haven’t looked into that one.

...but they only have to believe​ the threat is real. It doesn’t have to be real.

Any evidence that Antifa was planning something other than social medial posts which can be made by anyone anywhere?

As to the Idaho one, some guy said he saw white vans with Antifa and that he (or someone else) took a crow bar (flat bar) from some Antifa guy.

I highly doubt that.

As for Placerville? There appears to have been a hoax as far as I can tell.

People can safely respond armed if they want to, but after-the-fact, let’s dial back the “we chased Antifa away” rhetoric unless there is actual evidence that they chased Antifa away.

Overall, however, I am saying that “we” seem gullible and easily manipulated.

HLS and others have intelligence assets that can assess threats, I used to do that.

I do not know whether there were Antifa there or not. It does not seem to me that the guys standing guard were the ones taking the pictures. Also the guy taking the pictures may have missed that shot. I have a hard time calling someone a liar.

We will never know if these incidents were in fact a hoax or if miscreants were intimidated by an armed presence.
