So I orderd some cheap glock mags from Centerfire systems and they arrived today (el sucko, but whatever, lesson learned) In the box was a "keychain". I had no idea what it was (but it smelled like cosmo), and it looked like a piston. So also in todays mail was my WIRED magazine and in it was a story about the AK-47, with some pictures. Sure enough there was a diagram with my mystery part! Its the piston for the gas system! How random is that?

The Centerfire AK gas piston key fobs ("FREE with every order") are actually kinda neat. I have my shop keys on one; it slips easily into the belt, makes misplacing one's keys more difficult due to its size/weight/bulk/visibility, and can be used as an improvised Kubotan.

i put the garage keys on it. If thats lost theres no hope. I thought about the store key on it, but they are already a little wary of my tact-i-cool ness. I think it was the dress pistol belt.....

yes, picture showed the KAHN ones got KCI. The kahn mags have worked w/o fail. these new ones are not so good. i cut myself loading the 1st one, so that set the tone.

I got a good deal from Gunbroker.com on some Glock 22 mags.
I got five for about $6.00 more than what Gander Mountain wanted fro one.
