    Ive heard people melt crayons and fill in the letters on there rifles, any opinion or better options?... Advice? I think it looks good but does it last? ... Thanks in advance for the help. Post some pics if u have some too, always more interesting with photos!

    My girlfriend has fingernail polish at home, so I used that. The red didn't show up as well as I'd hoped, but it will do.

    You need more of a pink nail polish then a deep red. Consider the background color as a darkening factor, as nail polish is always somewhat transparent.

    *sigh* living with women...

    Nail polish, a blue shop paper towel, and pink nail polish remover.

    I second this. This is the method I've always used. It works and seems to hold up just fine. Just be sure to use the pink polish remover. The stuff I've used is a non-acetone polish remover.

    I just did some color fill, but not on a lower. I'm interested to see how it holds up.
