    I think true commercial loaders, and big volume reloaders actually roll size the brass, rather than die size, so no lube is needed.

    It depends on what caliber, and how the brass was fired. From my experience:

    Mil brass - 30 caliber +, Hornady Tub lube (Lard lube)

    Bolt gun brass - 308 caliber, Hornady One Shot Spray

    Bolt gun brass - .30 cal other, RCBS bottle lube

    Mil Brass - .223 caliber, Hornady One Shot Spray

    Anything larger than .30 cal, tub lube it. Period.
