Acronyms, they come from all directions here. From texting like IKR, and from the Military with NCOIC (Non-Commissioned Officer In Charge) FUBAR (F'd Up Beyond All Recognition) and of course WTF came from the Military (usually followed by "over" in GI slang.)

Now INGOisms... oh boy there is a bunch. @indyblue mentioned "Denny'd a thread" (a serious response to a humorous post.)

State Trooper stole my wallet. 5 year old girl steals your gun when OCing.

And of course we can't forget, The Boner Drone.

    far from here
Here's an idea, maybe there should be a thread that has a list of the common acronyms and jargon used on the forum, especially to help out people new to forums. Some of the acronyms used are more INGO specific, and I have seen many times where new users get confused due to some of the acronyms used. There are still a bunch that I don't know what they mean, or if someone did explain it, I forgot and can't find the post that explained it. Perhaps if we get enough, the mods could make this a sticky. I'll start with some that I do know (At least I think I know).

    LOL - Laugh Out Loud
    SMH - Shake My Head
SMFH - Shake My Freaking Head
    FTF - Face To Face
    IRL - In Real Life
IBTL - In Before The Lock
    IMO - In My Opinion
IMHO - In My Honest Opinion

That's all I could think of at the top of my head. The rest I still don't know what they mean. Hopefully more can be explained as members reply below.

I'll amend my Original Post as time goes on to include what others have contributed below, so that this is a little more consolidated.

Purple Text - Indicates Sarcasm, Jokes, Non-Literal Banter
    QFT - Quoted For Truth
OP - Original Post , Original Poster
FATWO - F*** All The Way Off
FAFO - F*** Around; Find Out
t2bf - Trying To Be Funny
    WTF - What The F***
WTAF - What The Actual F***
    FFS - For F***'s Sake
    IDK - I Don't Know
    IKR - I Know Right
    IDGAF - I Don't Give A F***
DILIGAF - Does It Look Like I Give A F***
    SSS
    shoot, shovel shut up

True enough, but that's more of an INGO quirk. Like pineapple on pizza is an INGO quirk. Maybe we need an INGO quirks thread. :):
Every forum that I've been on uses some color font to declare a comment to be snark, sarcasm or such. Kinda like saying, "Just kidding" .
